  2. I can't remember now exactly, but didn't he have to cut it off using a cotton wool bud? An Irish gentleman I think who races a prototype Ducati scooter...

LOL, just kidding :joy: - yeah took me a lot longer than 3 mins but then mine was firmly rusted on and I can tell you from experience those sprockets are tough old buggers to cut through.

  10. It’s even quicker if you don’t bother with the lock plate and let it fall off on its own (Unless it’s seized on the splines)!

  11. Tbf I broke out the 27 inch bar, gave it one tentative go then thought ‘sod that, I’m using the impact gun’. Locked off the sprocket, 2 presses and done!

I have noticed there is no retaking washer, not sure if there should be. And the sprocket isn’t off yet, just the nut....

  12. A cheap one!! But it’s an exact copy of the Clarke one.
Hoping the next size up pin will work or it’s out with the hole punch. Tbh I use to fix the valiant on normally and not knock the pin out. Saves the use of hammers!

  13. Hammers rule dude, use the hammers :upyeah:

  14. If you have a grinder, why not just chop the chain with a slitting disc?

  15. Probably will now, just trying to save mess tbh. Not like the chain is any good to save, its going in the bin
