Could they do said driver for with due care and attention as their actions are forcing others to react in a possible dangerous or avoiding manner? Complete waste of time And listening to the phone in on Vine show, its amazing the excuses which really are about drivers' lack of skill and attention on the road ahead. mobile phone and seatbelt going up to £100 as well, lane hoggers do my nut as well, and people texting, do they realise they are swerving all over the road, if your texting your not looking at the road, guilty of the odd phone call, but at least im looking forward, though still wrong ; )
In my heady days of having the balls to ride on the road, a knock on the drovers (sp) window often attracted their attention enough for them to move over into lane1. Alternatively it may have shit them up enough for them to give up motorway kerb crawling altogether.
Trouble is the old CLOC's (center lane owners club) members have now discovered that they can pish even more motorists by doing the very same in lane 3.

How can they equate phone use to middle lane misuse, if someone is inconsiderate and stays in the middle lane it causes irritation but someone using a mobile can and do kill. The fine for mobile use should be proportionally higher.
In my opinion, people who have mobiles glued to their ears whilst driving are wankers, and also increase the likelihood of an accident more than.... ...other wankers who hog the middle lane, and do not understand or are not taught "lane discipline". These people are also likely to cause accidents, but mush less so if the rest of us don't get annoyed by them as much as we do. They used to really, really fucking annoy me to the point of road rage, until one of my friends was taken at an early age by a terminal disease through no fault of their own. Now, I check the mirrors, signal, pull out, overtake, check mirrors, pull back in (to inside lane) and continue with my journey. I still think they are wankers, but my energy is focused on raising money for cancer research. Regardless of the law, popular opinion, education etc. etc., there will always be wankers, however you categorise them. Our quality of life will be improved if we set our default position against those who are not wankers, not against those who are. Alternatively, euthanase the fucktards.
Raise the speed limit to 80mph. Then educate drivers on correct lane use. That way we ''might'' get people overtaking in lane2 at 70 ish, and people overtaking in lane 3 at 80...ish. Then actually moving over in to the next empty space on their left hand side. Dream on though as there are too many drivers set in their ways and anti speed campaigners have too much ''airplay''. At a ''driving course'' I, ahem, attended recently I was shocked at the lack of knowledge from drivers when asked about lane discipline and speed limits. One woman stated that she travelled at 60mph in the middle lane. The reasons; ''in case the speed limit wasn't 70''....and that the inside lane was ''the slow lane''!! No hope without re education of the masses.
These rules are pointless. I have just had double yellow lines put outside my place. Does that stop the private taxi drivers parking there as they did before the lines. Does it fuck. They will still drive in the middle lane as they park on the double yellow lines. We know why because there is nobody to enforce the rules.
I view it as the same as old fuckers who decide to do their shopping on the weekend. They have all week to do their shopping but decide to fack everyone off by going to the shops when everyone else who works for a living needs to. Cnuts always bring their trolley of Ovaltine, corned Beef and Tena Pants to the 5 items or less isle... Fackin idiots. Like middle lane hoggers, they only do it to annoy others...
