My c90 was an awesome beast and i got a load of stick for that but it was brilliant for work cutting through town it was so small and after some carb and exhaust feta-ling pretty nippy, i remember when i was at ASDA doing nights it snowed and it was a good 3 inches i went out got the snow off the seat first kick started up while everyone was scraping there windscreens and the sound of tired fucked car batteries i rode home, fucking brilliant .
Im ok - just a bit sore....im not looking for compensation for that (personal injury - just a bit rough today) - my old Alpine Stars jacket has got a graze on it (its old and knackered anyway so it doesnt matter) - just want my bike put back to how it was, nothing more...i dont want to fuel the insurance increases by putting in exorbitant claims that just hike everyones premiums up...
Glad you weren't seriously hurt & hopefully the bike will be returned pristine. PS. Nothing like a scuff on an old leather to add a bit of character.
Screw them for every penny you can get, hope you have a speedy recovery. Too many blind drivers about at the moment, my mate got hit head on by a 77 year old lady driver, on his side of the road, said she did not see him. Never acknowledged the fact that she was on the wrong side of the road. Fortunately he managed to swerve onto the grass verge, and got clipped on his arm. Never the less he is still off work with torn ligaments and muscle damage. Lucky for him the car behind him was being driven by an of duty police officer. Perfect witness for insurance and compo claim.
Was that direct, i ask as they are about 20mins from me and i have been meaning to get the front lift.
Yes but to check out you have to add an adaptor, I did not need one as I already have bobbins fitted. So put in Honda blackbird which does not require an adaptor then checked out. I think you will work it out.
I remember the days when i dropped off the fireblade for a service down at Dobles,he would give me whatever they'd available at that time for a runaround, many times it was a C50/0/90 and what a hoot..and on other occasions a blackbird / RGv250 etc.
Just back. The good news is that the knee is in pretty good shape, the bad news is, no-one seems to be able to explain why the medial meniscus (which is the problem) has been inflamed for over 5 months. Now have three holes through the skin, a local anaesthetic injection, the arthroscopy site and a steroid injection. Feet up for 36 hours now and 2 weeks self isolation as the steroid inhibits your immune system. No jogging, running or shopping but more importantly, no riding motorbikes for a whole two weeks Andy
Have you ever considered a case of beer and a playstation, apparently all the rage these days even my mum in her early seventies now was playing on one a few years ago.
