  1. In all honesty I would buy the 950 Multi before that.

And if you didn't want to go the Adventure route have a looknat the Yamaha Tracers and save more money.

  2. The 950 Multi was on my preferred list but I think that it has a stupid front wheel size. I haven't been back to double-check but the Supersport S was the preferred Ducati option. The Tracer is defo out as I don't want Jap. I did test ride a Tracer a few years back and hated it. I bought my ST3 the following weekend!

I am just going to try and get my driving license back and get my ST2 and ST3 back on the road first. My concentration will be to get my garage/workshop sorted out and the existing Ducatis back on the road.

I'll just mull over what new bike to get whilst I sort myself out. I shall concentrate on recovery, garden, finishing bikes and tidying up. And getting fit!

    I will shup now!

  3. Ah yes, I did manage to get a go on the track after the Bol one year. However I also remember a loony on a full works motocrosser hurtling round the gravel roads as well.... at night..... with no lights

  4. Tracer GT is an awesome Street/ ADV for the price.

  5. At the Bol, I think that was an obligatory "attraction"!

  6. If I want to ride off-road, I have this. Best of both worlds, as I can ride 80 miles on road, do a few hours of off-road, then ride home in comfort. And when I drop it, it was less than half the price of a new V4, and the low tanks will take most of the hit. I tried a T7 but found it quite dull.

This bike was designed to be crashed. You can’t say that about the V4.

  7. My legs are too short to ride off road. I can manage a large/tall bike on the road but intrude even a light gravel when it needs low speed/stop......CRUNCH

  8. I can get more from both my ST2 and ST3 - both bikes being way over 10 years old. I'm struggling to see progress here....

  9. I used to get 140 out of my ST2, 170 I’d be pushing. Have had the light on in less than 120 on that. Depends how heavy your right hand it ;)

  10. my current bike is a 2013 skyhook MTS1200. I took out a 950 Multistrada a few weeks ago and let me tell you the front end handling is excellent, certainly superior to my bike, in fact the road holding was better overall, we all write about funny tyre sizes but hey I thought it was better than my bike, which has a brand new set of PR5s on. You won’t be disappointed.

  11. Apart from when the rider forgets he's not on a sports bike and doesn't make the corner.
