Just put £5 on Scotland to beat Italy buy 16-20 points, which is not unreasonable, just watch either team play out of their skins and scupper it.
I'm noticing more and more these days the live England rugby matchs are disappearing from our normal T.V channels.
Well the £5 on Scotland went back to Mr Hill. However I managed to get it back with interest by putting another £5 on England to beat Georgia by 30-40. The last 5 minutes were spent hoping England didn’t score or Georgia put a few on the board.
I watched a bit of the England match on amazon prime as somebody we have a month freebie. I couldn’t find a way to pause or stop the live coverage - even my tech savvy son couldn’t do it! Anybody know if it is possible or to watch games afterwards at one’s own convenience?
England / France tonight at 7pm on channel four and before that at 4pm the Harlequins / Gloucester match on 412/413/414?
2pm kick off here. It’s a great shame that France are not fielding their A Team due to the strange 3 game rule instigated by the French clubs. Tant pis..
Shame is not the appropriate word, I think. A pity, maybe... 1/ It is utterly disrespectful for the young players that will bravely face one of the world’s best teams. Someone who ever played rugby cannot but respect that. 2/ It is not France’s fault if the pandemic screwed up the entire season calendar, and if Top 14 has more teams, and therefore more games scheduled. 3/ Last and not least, by making this kind of comment, like the UK press, you put an awful load of negative pressure on the English team. Which is bollocks. They deserve more respect. I can guarantee that E. Jones, O. Farell and his team are not taking this event lightly. With your mindset, if they loose, you guys will undoubtedly unleash hell on them. That’s shame. All in all, this promises a very exciting game, with a young French guard that has nothing to loose and everything to prove to their elders. I understand a bunch of them are twice U20 world champs, aren’t they? And that is a wonderful omen. Some of these young players will be seen again on the 2023 RWC fields. Que le meilleur gagne!
H Guillaume, Desole, I was not having a go at anybody. We use the word shame and pity as interchangeable words so when I said shame I was not inferring shame as in they have done something wrong that deserves them to feel bad of themselves. I totally agree - it will be a great game* and may the best team win indeed! *pity Antoine Dupont isn’t playing as he’s a great scrum half..
Oh ok, sorry, I took « shame » as a more negative word. Yeah, Dupont is amazing to watch in a game. But this young team seems promising too! So much stamina and fighting spirit. They play like they are immortals!
Half Time...France are definitely the better team so far. England are very pedestrian and being out played. Merde alors!
