1200 DVT Sprocket Nuts

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by NSR500, Dec 11, 2020.

  1. Guys, what size are the sprocket nuts? Are they M10 x 1.0?

  2. If you don't get a sensible answer to your enquiry, you can use sprocket wire.

The beauty of this method is that you can use either metric, or Imperial

  6. I would check the steel grade marking on the head, should be at least 8.8.
10.9 or 12.9 grade preferably. Whatever you do, don’t use stainless steel.
    Otherwise these may shear off.
Torque setting chart attached. These settings are with a dry thread.

  7. Yup. Know all about torque, been an engineer in aerospace all my days! Just needed to know the thread size to buy drilled nuts.
