Anyone with a v2 panigale have the racing or comfort seat? Are the v2 seats similar to the 959/1299 in that the racing seat is higher and firmer and the comfort seat is higher but softer (so effectively no higher than standard)? had race seat on my 959 and liked it and want the extra leg room
I think the comfort is 10mm higher and the race seat 20mm higher, which is why I didn’t get one, don’t want to be even higher up as it gets really wristy.
Comfort seat come in either -20 Or +20 but on the previous model the comfort seat squashed down a bit so was no higher. I found The race seat comfy on my 959 not sure if it the same material on the v2 though
do you know the part numbers? I’d get a lower comfort seat tomorrow! To get me in lower behind the tank and not so on my wrists
Local bike and car upholsterer. I’m sure you will have one near you too. I’ve just had the seat to my Scrambler 1100 Sport done the same way too.
After the performance seat for actual performance use so if anyone can give it a thumbs up on track it would be good to know Also would like to know if there would be room for a tank cover (fibre glass/carbon, not extended) cause it looks tight with standard seat.
