Hoovered out the garage today as long overdue,i then tried the spare alarm fob for the 96 and to my surprise it works, the first time ever in three years but perhaps a new battery is the order of the day just in case.
i've a mix of carpets in there that get mucky so once, twice a year i do the honors, the 96 sits on top of a rug that came from my grandparents place & many decades ago i used to play with Matchbox / Dinky / Action Man stuff.......lifes weird don't you think.
As the sun was shining , put the battery back on the Icon and took it for some fresh air and exercise , did 40 miles today .
Had a day on track at Bedford in the M3, most of the track was as slippy as ice for most of the day but some great fun in the wet, some nice drifts at silly speeds! Didn’t get overtaken all day and my first time there so did ok I reckon. 165 miles on track and £130 in fuel is painful though, I dread to think how much I’d use on a dry day there!
Is that an original Black & Decker workmate I spot, I’ve a workmate donated to me by my father when he gave up his bungalow with garage as he’d no use for it. Used it today whilst building up my lads MTB must be over 40 years old now. Not me Dad he’d be a lot older if he was still here...
went to a Christmas Fair at Midhurst which was cheerful, found my mask eventually - it was in the last pocket of course, out of around a dozen. I wish they had Brain Sanitiser as well.
You know ! From an early age i was always told to use the back door......... could be a bit messier, much tighter, but no 7 day waiting period. Get on 'em boy.
