1260 Ducati Multistrada 1260 V4 !! 190hp

  1. Once they announce a Pikes Peak, I’ll be more open minded about the new model.

  2. I never came around to liking the 999 and willing to bet I’m not alone on that point. I’m sure the V4 Multi will be a great bike, but I don’t expect I’ll be all that interested until they come out with a proper road-focused S and/or PP. I’ve got a 1260 S to keep me entertained until then.

  4. Is anyone aware of any UK dealers receiving bikes yet?

It seems they are in other European dealers already.

  5. Probably a Brexit issue. Seems everything is blamed on this. Been having difficulties sending some Leathers to Italy for repairs from the UK. All started mid November. It’s a complete cluster fcuk ATM

  6. My dealer expected bikes on the last day in Nov, not arrived yet??

  7. BREXIT = PROBLEM +++++++++
Be patient, this has only just begun, in the news in Spain, statements have been made by people from the United Kingdom, stating that supermarkets have received the recommendation to store basic necessities for more than triple the normal, a BREXIT is expected HARD, imagine if this is with these products that can happen with luxury or hobby items. Likewise, if we want to bring something from the United Kingdom, we are stopping purchases, and this is not good.

    JANUARY 1 IS COMING.
You decided freely, and I am sorry dear friends

  8. Very difficult for a dealer to sell you a bike at a guaranteed price, if there’s no brexit deal they will pass on the import duty (hidden in the small print). and that could easily add £1000 to the price.
Let’s hope the deal gets done.

  9. It will be 6% of the price that Ducati UK pays Ducati Italia excluding VAT. Then add 20% on to the 6%.

  10. excactly.....

  11. very little% I think that 6% is, once outside the European Union, if no agreement is reached, it will be much more than that 6%, here is news of 12/15% which is what anyone pays another non-EU country except Canada. Anyway, motorcycles are whims, and as whims if our heart asks we will pay for them, I see the most serious problem in the basic articles (vegetables, fruits, fish, meat etc etc).

On the other hand, the same thing will happen to this side, the motorcycles of the triumph company will have to pay more tariffs to sell in Europe, I don't know friends, I don't see it easy

  12. Why has this thread turned into a Brexit debate? Can we get back on track please folks.

  13. Because its relevant to buying a V4 Multi...or even getting to see or ride one at the moment.

  14. Another video from a Ducati Dealer's first ride

  15. Interesting to see yet another riding style. 110kph, adaptive cruise engaged and in 4th gear. Throughout the ride he spent more time in a higher (and more responsive ?) gear when in the previous videos, the rides seem to want to prove the engine could spend more time in 5th and 6th. Saddle height definitely appears to be lower and for me, the side moving pannier set up is a gimmick and serves no useful purpose. Andy

  16. I watched the video for the new 2021 Yamaha Tracer 9 GT the other day, they have also adopted the same pannier movement system!!

  17. Swinging panniers are about as useful as Suzuki’s Ramair.........( and Ive had both  )
I’m still waiting to see an independent review from both 1260 & GS owners, I’m not sure a Ducati sales manager who gets a bonus for selling them is going to be unbiased.....
So I’m going to book a test ride . Apparently available UK mid January. It’s going to have to be fairly amazing to get me to change my mind, yes I’m biased, I admit it, I just don’t see that it can replace my PP, but I’m open to it being amazing. Who knows, I might end up with both ..........

  18. FWIW, this whole topic has revolved around why the new V4 is NOT a replacement for your PP. IMO, I think the V4 will genuinely surprise quite a few current 1200/1260 Multistrada riders and it will certainly be up to being ridden as hard by a significant proportion of current riders. It’s potentially just not going to do it for the top 10% of riders. Andy
