agree but thing is supply/demand. new race bikes are so track focussed that most new sold bikes are naked, they're just a better all round bike i suppose. when i passed my test all i wanted was the coolest looking race bike but doesnt seem to be the case nowadays
A very brave buyer required for this model. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-250TS/124455295261?hash=item1cfa1d191d:g:fBwAAOSwOghfvNCy
For me it was three odd years before i bought my first new sportsbike ( CBR600FP ) but like you i'm not bothered about the lastest rock & roll band. When i started if it wasn't Japanese i just was not interested but these days i love looking at all bikes / manufacturers from the different decades.
My first decent sports bike was a ZX7R, loved it, the front end was incredible until someone pulled out on me and had me rolling over the bonnet. Even after that loved it so much I bought it back off the insurers and had the front end fixed. I’ve got a street triple 2017 now which I have to say is incredible as an all rounder, it does the lot and I can’t knock it. But there’s no replacing that feeling from the slightly older analogue sports bikes.
I guess we're all set in our ways now but i'd never rule out riding the V4 or other modern motorcycles just for the hell of it,but ownership no thanks. As for old school bikes i'd a MOT carried out at JB motorcycles in Edenbridge recently & he's some bikes in his collection from that period.
Looks good with the black frame and after reading could be a member on this forum's bike. Ducati SS Edit, I like that.
Have to agree on the ZX7R love here mate. Loved my old one so much I bought another one a few months back. Marvellous to ride, just marvellous.
Could be a cheap winter hack for that hardy person. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-S...544208?hash=item2af9add010:g:lWgAAOSw5Stf1M2J

Has this not sold because it’s just too much money or because it’s in Denmark ? I’m rarely moved by this type of bike but I am by this, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-T...821443?hash=item42269f6383:g:FdMAAOSwzQFeJs20 Andy
