Praise For Oxford Advanced Hot Grips

  1. Fitted a pair of these to my Triumph Speed Twin recently. Fantastic, work very well indeed. I was impressed with the quality, new screw together connectors to connect the left and right heated grip, the controller and fused battery lead together. Everthing very well designed and foolproof and simple to install, all the seperate components had a high quality feel. Set on the highest of the 9 available levels they were so hot I had to turn them down, Hands really felt very warm. I'm delighted, and a very reasonable price too. Highly recommended.

Auto power off too, so you don't have to remember to turn them off to save flattening the battery.

  3. @kiergrills
Did you notice there are different lengths of handgrip available? I chose the Retro one's as they corresponded more closely to the overall length of my existing handgrips.
The differences are quite small, just a few mm's , mine worked out perfectly.

  6. For years I rode around with cold/ freezing hands. Like a stubborn mule I never put on heated grips. One day I did and it’s the best thing ever, I now wear summer gloves all year if it’s not raining so have much better feel. I am a total toss pot for not having done it much sooner!!

  7. My brother fitted a pair to his bike a few weeks back and really rates them so now I have a set waiting under the xmas tree for my M797. With the boxing day lockdown I might not get a chance to try them out for a while but the weather looks good tomorrow so I'll go out for what could be the last ride of 2020, even if I do get cold hands.

  8. You know the ONLY reason I am considering another 1200S instead of R is the availability of factory heated grips on the S. Not available on the R.
    Thank you.
can we see some pics? as a Christmas present to all cold hands?

  9. Never had a bike with heated grips before, until very recently when I fitted Daytona heated grips to my Street Triple. Not had much opportunity to have a decent ride with them yet, but they seem to work very well and they have an integral control button so no ugly box unit.
