  1. any recommendations for a decent indoor cover that's big enough to handle a 1200 with topbox mounted? i haven't used a cover in years but figured my multi is special enough to deserve one during the winter months. i see some even have fleece liners for the windshield - aren't we fancy ;)

doesn't need to be waterproof, just something to keep the dust off but not cause any condensation issues, etc.

    tia.

  2. You'll have more options if you remove and store the top box separately.
I took out a second mortgage and bought the Genuine Ducati covers for both the Monster and the Multistrada.
    No regrets however.
Edit: I can't rationalize it, but there's a feel good felling when I walk into the garage and see those red covers.

  3. I’d recommend Richbrook - great quality and reasonably priced

  4. thanks, those look nice and stretchy. only one size though - do you think they would fit with the topbox mounted (no panniers)? also, they look a lot like the Geza covers but significantly less $. I had a Giza long ago, liked it, but it ended getting ripping.

  5. agreed - i may go that route (removing the topbox). i'll probably only use the cover for the winter months - too lazy to put a cover on/off every time i ride during the rest of the year. the genuine ducati are certainly sexy - and $$$.

  6. look at the Oxford Protex, decent stretchy cover and not expensive, large fits the Multi without topbox

  7. I have one made by Coverzone from their 'Voyager' range. Its semi fitted for the bike and completely covers my 2015 DVT Multi to floor level with top box and panniers still on the bike. Its for indoor/ outdoor but is waterproof and folds up into a small carry bag so handy to take on tour. I phoned the company to make sure it would fit and found them very helpful. Can't remember how much it cost I'm afraid but a good quality item. I could probably post a photo if helpful.

  8. If indoor, then just a red blanket.

    Happy to help.

  10. how dare you! ;)

  11. I have a dehumidifier in my garage, and have never covered any of my bikes, as I’d be worried about condensation and corrosion. It is rather cold out there though, so maybe a cover will keep the bike nice and warm. :D

  12. I believe they do 3 sizes XS/S, M/L, and XL/XXL. They are very soft, well made and super stretchy but tbh I don’t know about fit for your bike, although I did see this pic on their website.
