  2. I have seen quite a few people say mounting a modern iPhone on the handlebars will break the OIS

  3. I personally don’t use the phone to record, I use it mostly for navigation.
I know many guys who ride with phones mounted for years without any problems.

  4. Only read this problem with quad lock?

  5. Christ all my iPhones have been through hell and back.

one was in my pocket when I shunted at Oulton at 120 and was fine

mounting it to the handle bars is the least of its worries ha

  6. At some point or another most makes of mount have suffered this, generally newer phone models too. Quadlock have brought out a vibration damper for theirs now

  7. Mine broke falling from the seat of my van.

  8. Quadlock has knacked the image stabilisation on my iPhone, common problem I've since found out. Quadlock now offer a damping mechanism for their mounts, increases the footprint though. All in all though I love their mounts and the case is so unobtrusive its my daily even when not on the bike.
