The Cyclists/ebikers

Discussion in 'Other Bikes' started by DucatiScud, Apr 7, 2020.

  1. It has brakes! Surely they are luxury add ons?

  2. Measured my 'sit bones' this morning  and realised my saddle is about 20mm too narrow.
Only had it 10 years, was hoping it was going to 'bed in'.....

  3. Rear disc, these sound great not cross wind friendly though

    Deep rim front

    Dinner plate chainring

Doesn’t look a bad purchase for someone.

    Close ratio block

  8. Got a top tip off a mate who is right into his mountain bikes and uses a light coating of ACF50 applied with a brush on just about everything except the brakes obviously so we tried it today and it really works. Bikes were so much easier to clean, just needed a hose down and look like new !

  9. Wish I had been. It’s cost me a few quid:astonished:

  10. Thirty miles on the MTB on Friday brought December's total to 506 miles, so have achieved my 2020 New Years Resolution to cycle a minimum of 500 miles per calendar month. YTD total on a mix of road and MTB is 7200 miles and 297,350 ft of climbing. A lot more challenging than expected with lockdown and no group rides and hence a significant lack of cake, but fortunate to live in the sticks so able to avoid A roads with plenty of country lanes with only tractors, old Land Rover's, the odd horse and plenty of brambles to contend with.
The pain of some of that pedalling up a seemingly endless hill in a typhoon the BBC forgot to include in their forecast pales into insignificance against today's Xmas food shopping in Tesco's....WTF!

  19. Dried up a bit here so took a sub zero spin on this for the first time, didn’t fall on any ice so that’s a plus 6FC2414E-A094-4540-BA1B-7373BE1E2C96.jpeg
