So, with dedicated track bikes.... Anyone swapped the dash for something else, using the stock canbus feed? Which fairings have you gone for? who's still running one on track?
I have one that is a dedicated track bike. Standard dash - no point in changing it as it is light and does the job, in my opinion. Fairings are a mishmash of carbon and g/f .
I don't want a single point of failure, ie a silly drop at takes the dash out, throws the bike in a spiz. I'd like one with a lap timer(auto)+logger. Its the brand of fairing I was after, I don't really want to pay CRC prices!

Just spoken to them, a few bits to think about. I might just packaged the standard dash somewhere 'safe' on the bike. when I suggested it, he says its done a lot with modern stuff.
Love my 924cc track day toy. Had it for years in various specs. I used an old Pi system 2 dash though it isn’t can bus. But will let me know all I need to see on track. It can handle a lap timer but needs a beacon. So I just use an old iPhone and RaceChrono app. I try to keep it cheap as poss so I can ride without the worry of wrecking it all and have massive go up in smoke. fairing. As cheap as possible.
On my 999 track bike I am using AIM MXL2, not cheap for sure but wirth every penny. Bought it with loom adapter from BikeSport Developments, definitely the most professional gut in that field. Followed also uis advice and went for Microtech M197 ECU and arrived in racing heaven. Does everything I had dreamed of in a very professional manner. Wish I would ride as good as my bike is Raoul
