I wouldn't be too wary! of the 6 bikes I own 4 are British purely because the condition is better much better availability and the MOT means the mileage should be verified none of which applies in the ROI
This seller is claiming that this motorcycle is a 888/factory but is it really...Experts where're you. https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1216199
I just don't believe for one minute this is a 998s final edition,as No top yoke number plaque inplace & no S on the fairings.also the seat unit is different to the factory O.E.
I thought the FE also came with Ohlins damper and Ohlins forks. Picked up a 998 last week so have been looking at the differences. Plus even the base 998 comes with the rear Ohlins.
Absolutely. Nothing FE about it. The eBay listing now duly says: 'This listing was ended by the seller because there was an error in the listing.'
Yes i'd noticed it has disappeared from my watch list, who knows with folk & what they're thinking at times.
Could easily be owner bought what they think was FE. Says owned since 2008, not much internet shared knowlaged back then.
@Roadtrip sorry was it you that wanted a 900 project. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1996-duc...rentrq:adbe2c201760a9e8e5e1f412ffd8e818|iid:1
This one is perfect for me but even at 2k is to much i think as it will need a complete strip, engine is very scabby so would take it apart and rebuild it and as we know a complete running 900-750 with history would be cheaper in the long run if i paid 2k and that's his starting price, i will message him, Thanks for the link
That's lovely, reminds me of the one I bought new after meeting the bloke who designed it at a motorcycle show. Brilliant bike, shame I had to sell it.
Question;would you purchase a superleggera over a Desmosedici. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DUCATI-1...589905?hash=item2f4c6bb491:g:tzIAAOSw2dJfiryg
