Last night i watched the Rise of the Footsoldier,a very violent DVD based on a true story set in Essex back in the eighties/nineties.
I watched The Midnight Sky starring good old George Clooney. Christ knows why... Absolutely bloody awful self indulgent waste of time.
Thanks. We nearly watched that last night, but chose a kids marvel-rip off hero movie instead. Glad I did!
I don't watch a great deal of moving pictures. I tried the recent Borat for all of ten minutes - unwatchable. I also watched the Grand Tour trio drive up a bumpy track in unsuitable cars with really contrived jokes and an abrupt ending. Best described as lame. Seems to me that Borat & Team Clarkson might be past their sell by date. BTW. The totally ridiculous road bridge being built around Madagascar by the French was nonetheless quite something to see.
Just finished 'The Night Manager' via the iplayer . Very good indeed, superb performances from Hugh Laurie and Tom Hiddleston. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1399664/
The nine lives of Ozzy Osbourne, recently on BBC2, and quite funny in places. Like Keef, astonishing he is still here... Treated his body more like a laboratory rather than a temple, and certainly a life well lived.....
I bought my Gilera Saturno from Mattersons. They are genuinely a nice bunch of people. I knew it had come from a guy who had died with 250 motorcycles in a mill that the family had to dispose of. Found out today from an episode that it was a Dale Winfield. Self made businessman who started by making shoes, and had a liking for classic bikes.
