Just popped down to Dudley to pick up a DP light tinted windscreen and met the owner of this little gem! Best spec’d 899 I’ve seen.
Forks, swingarm for starters It’s a JHP special with all top notch parts. That swing arm is made by a company called Pierobon, have a google. And that’s just part of it.
List is a bit too long mate and I only saw it for a few minutes. I’m hoping the owner will join the forum and then he’ll tell us but from what I can remember... Front brake callipers Magnesium GP2 wheels All carbon Slipper clutch Special top yoke FG Ohlins and TTX shock Upgraded brake and clutch masters inc span adjuster...
Aren’t they £4K ish? Never thought much about them as I thought the single sided was the decent option for the smaller bikes but seeing it in the flesh is something else.
For the 899/959? That’s a lot of brass even if made by a top fab company... I’m now thinking the single sided arms from their bigger brothers look just as good.
think jhp have made a couple ive seen a yellow one kicking about with massive spec and the same swing arm.
@cookster I think you might be thinking of these 2 that JHP have done in Mellow Yellow for 1 of the Customers. 1 is a V4R 2 is a 959 both with a Pierobon Swingarms 959 was in Fast Bikes a few years ago from memory. Both look great in the flesh too.
Its such a shame to have such a nice bike and never actually use it, the owner built a high spec 1299 also and never used it, just sold it. The 899 is very special and is a great very high end build lots of fine detail like superleggra bolts and headstock.
Do you know Wayne then? Only came across him yesterday after buying something off him on eBay. He did tell me he had an Aniversario before. Seems like a top bloke.
No dont know him but his bikes were always in the jhp workshop, his Anniversairo was a replica, he got a new 1299 and ordered all the panels and and tank from the factory, he went as far as ordering a headstock from Ducati, they would only supply a blank (not numbered) one, must have cost him a fortune, he should have brought mine lol. He has had his 899 from late 2013/early 2014, and is a bloody nice bike, the swing arm was £4500 at the time as i did ask the question.
