Hi all, Recently purchased one of the last 1260s Multistradas as I do love my twins. Been riding Ducati's for 7 years now with my first two being a 821 Hyperstrada and then a 939 Hyperstrada. The 821 was awful to own, constantly breaking down but amazing to ride. The 939 was so much better to ride and quite reliable (EVERYTHING IS RELATIVE). I always thought the Hyperstradas throttle only had two positions, on or off. In the BC (Before Covid) times I used to commute 4 days a week doing about 50miles per day in city riding. I still have my faithful Honda NC750 DCT but she hasn't really had a good ride in many months and between us we now have 4 bikes on charge in the garage. I live just outside London and am a member of an IAM club and enjoy my club rides. We go touring when we are allowed and would have been on 5 bike tours last year had the world been normal. One of the reasons I went for the new Multi was for its versatility as it will tour better then the Hyperstrada and also be fun when required. Thanks for adding me in and I look forward to some interesting discussions and a bit of banter.
