  9. A neighbour of mine asked would i mind having a look at his Grandson's motorbike , the usual questions what type of bike make, model ? What's wrong with it ? "Don't know only it got a broken engine bolt and something wrong with the chain."
"Get it to me and i'll have a look Social distancing observed " Well look what turned up at night in the back of a van.

Cutting a long story short once seen in the daylight, i phoned my neighbour and said it was a fvckin wreck, wouldn't recommend spending good money on it, i removed the smashed stator/flywheel cover to find the stator plate pick-up snapped clean off by the chain which had been thrown. So the owner came to pick it up and asked how much for looking at it, no charge Butty. He said he was taking straight to the local tip / scrappy unless i wanted it. Well you know i like free stuff, and leave it here and i will break it.
I thought i will try and get it running as i hate the thought of scrapping anything and with time on my hands lets give it a go. So i will do a little project on it if it runs. Ordered a new stator plate which has just arrived.

  10. Now let’s see how much willpower you have as if it’s like most people You’ll be buying new bits galore for it and be £1000’s down in the process. But most men enjoy a good challenge so good luck with getting it running. If you do just don’t drive past the neighbours house with a big grin.

  12. I'll give you, errrrrrr, nothing for it. In fact, coz it's a scrapper and will need dumping, -£250. I know, my generosity know no bounds!

  13. Is that the first or second jab?

  14. First, I just had a recce for parking but looks like it's a wheelchair job.

  15. I'm hoping that chemists get the gig, including my chemist that is just down the road, opposite a coffee shop. My hope would be that I can say that I've come over all "funny" and persuade one of the staff to go across the road and bring me a latte!

Vaccinated and a latte bought to my chair. If that happens then I may even break tradition and vote tory to get Boris another term!

Unlikely, I know! Both the coffee being provided, my chemist giving out the jabs, and me voting conservative...
