I suppose it's just practice. Once the tyre bead is in the wheel well then it's easy to pop the other side off. Just use plenty of tyre soap and a hide mallet and the tyre's off. A static balancer stand is only about £30. Tyre soap and weights are plentiful on ebay.
Blimey, that's cheap! I used to do my own tyres with just a pair of levers and a lot of huffing and puffing. Gave up bothering years ago. But as I buy most tyres online now, perhaps I should reconsider. Dave, I hate you so much right now:frown:

good call..no matter how careful the garage is, i always have a cpl of chips on my wheels..pissed me off last time coz ive had my mag repainted and i cant go through the hell of having them rechromated and painted again.
have you guys seen colin edwards garage?? a proper, proper man cave...loads of these workstations, superbikes, leathers and lids in display cases, trailies....probably even a ride on lawnmower with 'busa lump in it..
