can only comment on the last question, a personal thing but unless really inconvenient i would always choose separate hose runs near the top yolk from choice.
Ducati 1098 Brembo radial cylinder goes straight on. Brake light works too. I picked up brackets and new reservoirs from Addiction Motorsports. Fit perfectly inside the fairing. Very powerful stopping now.
Thanks Chris, I will measure the new lines for the left disc to cross over by the top yolk. The bike came with radial brembo billet clutch and brake controls, so obviously I want to keep those, I was looking for an off the shelf reservoir mount bracket that either bolted to the clip-on mounts or the m/c bar clamp rather like the current one but shorter and less "artisan". I have looked at the 1098/1198 master cylinders, they have a mounting hole adjacent to the piston so the mounts are different, thanks for the suggestion.
I mount off the clamp with the Brembo cylinder bracket, not the threaded hole on the cylinder. https://addictionmotorsport.co.uk/r...kit-for-19rcs-16rcs-master-cylinder-110a26385
Thanks for that Cl955, i will get in touch with Addiction Motorsport. Were yours mounted to standard bars in the original position or after market ones?
Original bars. Just had to remove those nasty pins to fit the radial cylinder. I have a radial one for the clutch too, but I will need to remove the fast idle lever (which is fine, I can open the throttle), but the cable needs removing, which I will do next time I take the airbox off. Then I will have good aesthetics with matching cylinders, nice new reservoirs and funky clear tubing from reservoir to cylinder.
