Last year February was really dry and March was beautiful which was frustrating due to lockdown. What are your predictions for this year?
March last year was a washout. I should know as I had a brand new V2 delivered on the 26th February in readiness for March 1st and it pissed down until the 23rd March when I went out for my first ride on it around the Peak District. Then when I got home that evening BloJob decided we were to be in lockdown for 3 months, and that’s when we had good weather :/
Weather here is not too bad today, just been for a walk and noticed that there’s a shitload of salt still on the roads, won’t be taking any bikes out until that’s gone. I suspect this year will go much the same as last year, in and out of lockdown all the time, we have a 4 day weekend trip planned for late April, I really doubt it will happen?? I think the bloody government owes us all a rebate on our road tax tbh, what’s the point of paying road tax and then not being able to use your vehicles???
I went out on three of my bikes yesterday, all legit essential journeys. No salt abs dryish roads. Cannot wait until Spring. Like a new leaf turning over. Jan has been miserable since the 1st for one reason or another.
April will probably be fair. May will be great. June hotter some days but some rain. July raining and overcast, so humid. I'll let you know about August in a while.
It’s been luvverly the past few days, really spring like, the sun’s been out, bird’s have been singing away, each day is a cock’s step longer, it’s later each evening when I walk the dogs. Really nice . Cant wait to get a bike out
The real important question is , is it Brexit ,Scotchit , Covid or the weather which makes people miserable? Time for a nice holiday in the sun, in a far away destination soon I believe....
