998 Rear Carbon Hugger Fixing

  1. Hi there , quick question, I have a bit of a tired rear carbon hugger on my 998 and it is a bit shakey and not as sturdy as it used to be. Part of the reason being it’s not fixed at the back of the swing arm at the small mounting point below the shock.
It’s never been fixed here so can I ask for someone to send a photo of how you have yours fixed ? Is it a pin or just a tiny screw ? Sorry for such a basic question but I don’t have one to compare to.

    Thanks

  2. None of the swing arms had a locating hole so you have to drill a hole and tap a thread into the hole.
Obviously use the smallest size you can get away with.
