It's what I'd have done tbh. I couldn't be bothered wasting a day messing about. There's a lad round the corner from me I bought one of my bikes off for 1000 pounds under the low end or the private sale listing price "because I can't be bothered showing it to random strangers". I'm getting more like that myself. Your time becomes more valuable.
I Ive sold a couple of bikes to WBAB, never gonna get market value and they will chip you back when they see the bike. I’m trying to sell a 1299 privately at the minute and it’s a nightmare, but thats the trouble with private over dealer. But no rush to sell so will just have to put up with the ridiculous offers and questions
TBF sometimes the seller hadn't mentioned "all sorts" over the phone, so the offer was way higher due to the faults not being disclosed.
