Just looking through various Ducati dealerships and notice there are quite a few unregistered or 2020 registered 1299 Final Editions with 0-10 miles for sale. One has to ask did Ducati ever sell the full quota of the 1299 of the bikes that were produced or are there dealers out there with these sitting there waiting for the price to increase
Are they rising or falling? https://www.ridersducati.co.uk/used-bikes/ducati/1299-panigale-final-edition/35187.htm
Maybe something to do with the horrendous paint colours they gave it. Surely they would have sold more if it would have been just red with maybe a splash of another colour.
No is the answer to that question. At the end of last year, quite a big discount was offered to shift the last few unsold stock. The 1299FE is a technical tour de force sitting above the Panigale R ( yes that is correct) and the 1299 Superlegerra. Awesome bike. Andy
The cheapest one i saw advertised last year was for a very low £23k / new maybe with a few delivery miles on the clock for memory, but for the record i like that colour scheme.
Obviously paint schemes are subjective as i think they look stunning ,so much better looking than the v4 .
I think the FE colour scheme looks great, thinking of selling the good old SP3 and upgrading to one very soon
Looks like the SP3 is now sold just waiting for funds, so now decision time, rethinking the 1299 now as they seem to be an awful lot of these about unregistered and new unused with only delivery mileage, so may consider either 996R or 998R if anyone has one they may be thinking of letting go
That's a real shame you let that one slip the net, anyway why didn't you list it on here 4 sale for us folks. Both the above bikes mentioned are worthy replacements & you won't be disappointed.
The colour scheme is not the best admitted but what tips it over the edge for me is the vulgar red wheels
