Brave New World, (tv series) is a dystopian social science fiction novel by English author Aldous Huxley, written in 1931 and published in 1932. Largely set in a futuristic World State, whose citizens are environmentally engineered into an intelligence-based social hierarchy, the novel anticipates huge scientific advancements in reproductive technology, sleep-learning, psychological manipulation and classical conditioning that are combined to make a dystopian society which is challenged by only a single individual To think this was published in the ‘30’s it has so many parallels with our ‘ modern’ society.
It's one of my all time favorite books, which is why I was avoiding the series. Maybe I'll give it a go. Checkout the 1958 TV interview with Aldous, bloody scary!
You’ll only be disappointed......it’ll be nothing like how you visualised the book when you read it. Out of films I’ve watched that I’ve previously read the book only LotR came good.
