  1. sigh. Stubby footpeg end of my 750ss's brake pedal fell off on the way home. Can anyone recommend some groovy alternative I can just bolt on through the hole thats left??

  2. The bit with the bit of rubber on it?

Simplest thing I can think of is tap the hole (if it isn't already and screw a suitably shanked stainless bolt into it, loctiting as you go.....then cut off the excess, round off the end and slide/stick a bit of rubber hose onto it.

  3. Yeah, I'm going to do that with a nut and bolt and a bit of pipe and some gaffa in the interim. I just have a feeling she's in a bit of a mood with me at the moment, what with the weather and everything and thought a bit of jewellery might cheer her up a bit....

  4. Failing that, get a secondhand pedal.....

  5. if there is a threaded hole to screw something into, get access to a lathe, turn up a nice peg, knurl it and thread the one end, screw and loctite this in place

if you are super trick on lathe, machine a small heaxagon to assist fitting it, or alternatively machine it up as a sleeve with a stainlesss allen head sunk into / thru it to attach it

time to invest in one of these

  10. I wish, but no there isn't

  11. I sell toe pegs from our rearsets that we use for racing, so if you need one ready to bolt on get in touch, and you wont have to buy a lathe !

  12. Thats what I wanted to hear. Just found a couple of NOS pedals on ebay, but if'n they go for silly money, i'll get back to you
