I listen to Boris addressing the nation and I’m sure there are plenty of people who don’t have a clue what he is saying while using words that one would need to have a dictionary at hand. His errrr this and errr that doesn’t give me confidence

You must have missed this one Viv, where he outdoes himself in such a way that he sounds more like the Spitting Image version of himself rather than the actual Boris. The interviewer asks him if he thinks Joe Biden is "woke", and his initial response is absolutely priceless, before just about pulling himself together and pulling that smirk he always pulls when he gets caught out, and then going an answer to a completely different question that he hadn't even been asked.

Boris was half decent as london mayor, certainly much better than the current wanker, I remember watching him in mayors question times and no one ever got the better of him. As certain Tory politicians have found out relatively recently to their cost, he is nobody’s fool.
Decent leaders don't make mistakes that cost 100,000 plus lives of the people he is supposed to represent and protect. The death toll is likely to be 150,000 plus by the end of February.
Tbf, from what I’ve read he did very little actual mayoring. He had 8 deputies that did most of the heavy lifting while, according to some sources, he “shagged his way around London”.
i'm not to sure on the attitudes towards a republic, but the left leaning social democratic part is the majority view. by a long way. there was a wee discussion on this subject before, how do folks feel about the individual nations within the EU. the Flag of the EU represents collectively the independent member states of the union, the Union Jack also represents a Union, of sorts. it's not one nations flag. he is criticising the union, not one nation within it.

Any successful person in business I know surrounds oneself with people who are better at certain tasks than you are. I can’t use a computer, but did ok in the corporate ladder. If I needed something computing I asked one of my team to do it, same as I would make sure I had a damn good PR , FD, manager etc in the team, it’s a team effort, only as strong as the weakest link.
