V4 Seamless Gearbox

  1. Bike magazine this month says Ducati have patented an affordable seamless gearbox and they wouldn't be surprised to see it on the next V4 update..

  3. I saw that. I can see the advantage on track but surely on a road bike it’ll just be for bragging rights?

  4. There was a time, not long ago, when many said the same about quickshifter, engine braking control, and others now taken for granted

  5. Its quicker and its easier..

    I would never go back to a manual gearbox in a car now, I am sure bikes could be the same.

    Quickshifters and auto blippers are one short step from that.

  7. I have mixed feelings really! I think back to all the thousands of miles I did all over Europe and the uk on my old z1b and just loved every minute of it but if you took my blipper off my race bike I would seriously sulk!

  10. If you took my quickie and blippie off my KTM I’d be most upset in spite of the fact that before I had either I couldn’t see the point of them.:)
