  1. Just so many steps backwards for that man since that great season he'd in 2015 & lifted the silverware, anyway good luck to him and i like the coachworks.:upyeah:

  2. That could be a half decent teaming to be fair.

  3. Okay, I’ll put it out there. I think Gino Rea is one of the most overrated riders of the last 10 years, he’s had terrible luck at times, but also he’s been on good bikes and not done a lot. I hope he’s able to push through to the front this year but it’s going to be difficult on that bike.

as for Danny Kent... I don’t know what to say, he lost his head second half of 2015, and more recently I wouldn’t say he’s earned a superbike ride, he was finishing top 5 in super stock. What about giving Chrissy Rouse a shot on a superbike? Or one of the other fast Supersport or super stock lads?

I’m not normally down on riders, they are all gods for what they can do on a bike (not so much how they conduct themselves in their personal lives) but this just happens to be probably my least two favourite riders from the British crop

  4. Doesn’t work like that though mate. It’s not really about chances so to speak.

it’s about who can afford it

  5. So what is happening to Keith Farmer who Rea stood in for or have I missed something ? Andy

  6. What’s happed to Kyle Ryde this year?

  7. Rich Energy OMG BMW. Andy

  8. Brave move in my book. Those BMWs have never really done anything in sbk :/

  9. 10 of the 27 confirmed riders are on the BMW.
PR Racing - Joe Francis; Brad Jones
Rich Energy OMG Racing - Kyle Ryde; Bradley Ray
FHO Racing - Peter Hickman; Xavis Fores
SYNETIC BMW - Danny Buchan; Andrew Irwin
Roadhouse Macau by FHO Racing - Brian McCormack

  10. Mad considering the beamer hasn't won anything really in superbike ever bar on the roads. And the new bike hasn't done anything either in sbk trim! It wasn't even a top 10 finisher half the time last year. 11th I think is the highest championship finisher on a bmw last year, which was Mossey who is a class act.

I heard rumours of teams regretting their move to bmw, seems odd that so many have jumped onboard with bmw all things considered.

    We shall see I guess.

  11. Did the BMW teams ever find a way to get the Shiftcam to work with BSB regs? I guess they aren't down that low in the revs much so they probably just locked it in defcon mode!

I agree though, there are a LOT of BMW's out there, considering they had a torrid season last year across all the bikes.

We will see, I guess it's the last season for Yamaha in BSB unless they update the package for 2022, unless they are fully paid for by Yamaha surely teams aren't going to want to keep running the bike without support and development.

  12. I did hear that a new r1 was on its way but it’s been delayed due to money/economic reasons.

no idea re the shift cam. You have to run motec in the sbk class and I’m not sure how that would work with it.. I know that bmw weirdly had issues finding horsepower from the sbk engines and reliability (not so much of a surprise).

  13. Good news for Kent, fingers crossed he has got himself together and over come a few problems he's had the last few years, I saw him win the title in 2015 at Valencia, was a good day to have Brit win.
