As I can’t do any track days I thought I might as well go through it front to back! Managed to pick up a pair of Brembo M4s with brand new pads for a bargain, just waiting on a h brake line set up to arrive. Clutch strip and clean, new oil, filters, new brake lever guard fitted, silencer all cleaned of rubber, new under slung caliper set up now installed to. The passion for these is never ending!
What's the advantages of underslung rear caliper? Doesn't it catch more crap and make it harder to bleed?
Bled it up pretty quickly tbh, held the caliper up in the air whilst I bled it, jobs a good en! Also makes it easier to roll the wheel in on changes
I am pal, had lots of time wasters so thought I’ll just keep using and upgrading as I go. Can’t help it, it’s an addiction It’s still for sale though if someone was really interested!
They just look so much better and if I can’t keep up with the modern stuff on the straights I’ll catch them in the corners
Original RS/Factory h brake lines fitted today. Saving my favourite job, bleeding them up until the morning
All brake upgrades now completed, all bled up and ready for action! Cleaning and examining all done, just a fire up tomorrow to check levels and she awaits Boris thumbs up for going to the track!
Looks great! Did you get some proper forged wheels in the end? You just need to put some baffles in now to get past the noise police!
