Yes staying awake I found problematic, even though from memory your actual time in a courtroom is probs 3 hrs max.
Quick walk around the block with the dog and that's about it for today. Plenty of coffee and cake on the sofa I reckon.
You know your dog is thinking WTF are we doing out here bud it’s freezing FFS and I wanted a faster Yellow coat not this slow Red.

Back in Penarth, with the new belt and to tool to help fit it this time. In the end, it took longer to get the car up on axle stands and the wheel off than it did to fit the belt. Lesson learnt. Having a beer and watching Wales v Ireland. Andy
Finished putting down new floorboards in my rental property Reconnected underfloor wiring as the sparkies thought it wise to just notch out where the wires would be so when I ran my circular saw over the floorboards they got nicked a little. The Gas Central heating engineer must have been related to the sparkies, luckily it didn’t contact the pipe as I’d set the blade for 1/2 inch or so. Got an alert from Curry’s at 3:30 that my Son’s Logitech steering wheel and pedals were ready for collection, jumped in the van and now home with said item installed on his PC.
I had the Pfizer one, which seems to have fewer reports of side effects But no doubt I’ll find out over the next day or two
Went for a walk around Kew Gardens again, did 13,000 steps, apparently. When we got back Went to start the Mrs’s Golf, dead as a Dodo... again. Dug out the receipt, it was a Yuasa with a 5 year guarantee. Phoned Halfords, explained I’d had to jump start it previously and charged it a couple of times and it was toast. Cold toast at that and considering it was a Yuasa I was surprised. So I got my 250 piece Halfords socket set out, purchased with the forum discount card, whipped it out and took it back. The guy I spoke to on the phone had the replacement sitting by the cash desk when I got there. Straight swap, no problem, big shout out for Halfords, happy days. While I was there I was very tempted by a small 10-60N torque wrench but decided to wait ‘till they email me with 20% orfft. Which with my discount card should make it a viable purchase, considering how often I’ll use it. Battery in, car and wife running happily. Other than that it snowed a lot but didn’t settle.
Just had a little session on my lads pc game dirt2 with his new steering wheel/ pedals combo, let’s just say I’m not worrying the leaderboard.....yet. I can drive the Mini Cooper better than the Lancia Fulvio and no way anything more modern than that...
