I went to the vets today to get the kittens their first shots. It turns out that my black male cat is in fact a female! It doesn't really matter to me what sex they are but it was funny at the time.
This is another one of his funny habits. He doesn’t like it if I go into the dining room or kitchen without him and that connecting door opens inwards, meaning he can’t follow me, so most of the time I turn round to find him perched on the chair so he can see what I’m up to and glare at me indignantly.
.....dishonestly appropriating a shoe unto himself with the intention of permanently depriving its owner of it
Nope. Don’t like that at all. When we came downstairs he could obviously tell something was different outside somehow and started growling and barking. As soon as he got outside the hackles on the back of his neck stood up and he charged outside, but then realised it was freezing cold and promptly charged back inside again
Thanks. The one on the right (Bonnie) is still with us until the weekend when she goes off to her 'forever home' in Lincolnshire. She was diagnosed with a serious heart condition (a PDA) at 8 weeks old and needed major corrective surgery. It's 100% fixed now and I'm £4.25k lighter in the pocket!! (... but heyho. That's not her fault). Such a tough little girl. You'd never know there had been anything wrong, if it weren't for ... This was her, right as rain, a couple of days ago...
'Chester' is one of our (Gwen's) last litter. He now lives with a friend that's been waiting almost 2 years for one of our pups. She's the Founder of a children's charity http://phoenixcharity.org/ and he spends his days with Reindeer, ponies and assorted other animals. Visited him yesterday and he's living THE life for a Border Collie.
He found a dead blackbird under the hedge and was like "I'm not sure what it is, but something inside me tells me I was born to do this sort of thing...."
Came back from trip to Devon coast with my two infested with the dammed things, vet used these so I bought a set for myself. Work really well to twist the ticks out without leaving the head behind.
