Few snaps I took of him at Scarborough with my trusty 35mm all those years ago. Imagine a MotoGP World Champion racing there competitively now !
Thanks for loading that up,i'd not seen the second video before, did i hear correctly ten gears on a 125cc.
He was a bit of a mover on the dance floor in the local nightclubs as well. Whenever I go to Scarborough I look for Sheene lookalikes just like when the only fools and horses lot went to that town in France where uncle Albert spent time during the war and they see loads of blokes that look like him and his mate says he was a bit of a ladies man !
A couple of shots I took with my Dads film camera from the 1979 GP at Silverstone. No paddock pass just normal ticket got me this close. Can you imagine getting this close to todays MotoGP stars!
I loved that, funny and a sensible speed for a first timer..i've only been on a back of bike two or three times in my lifetime, and i'll leave it at that based on lunatic riders that gave me a lift many years ago.
