Chain Oilers, which one?

    Just reieved email from Scottoil and the say it is a fitting issue and a plate needs to be made to utilize the screw in the swing arm or drill and tap another hole.
     
  3. Had a Scottoiler on a KTM 990 Adventure a few years ago. Nightmare to fit. Flung oil & crap everywhere. Piece of shit IMHO, took it off after a few months & binned it. Quick squirt with a can of Wurth dry chain lube at the end of a ride, no mess, no fling, job done.
     
  4. My system was fitted for first owner from new (bike - 11 plate) and is on it's second head unit! Seems to work fine but o/e chain and sprok kit lasted 14000 miles. Question though: how often should you see the little red led light up on h/unit when dps is at 50? Come to that I've only ever seen it on a few times in 9 months of use whilst flicking between the lowest and highest dps limits. Is it time for h/unit number 3???? :biggrin:
