Agreed, but it’s also about branding, they are now instantly recognisable as KTM, should be in the winners enclosure a bit too , so great Tv exposure. Very good idea to paint them like that.
I like it, nice and in your face lairy! KTM have never been the shrinking violet types,....still make the ugliest road bikes ever !
Have to say I'm a fan of KTM and their dedication to lairy and edgy bikes personally. They're not trying to be 'hip and cool' with anything they do, they're not trying to be fashionable, they're just 'in your face' aggression....hats off to them. Have to say though, with the above livery I think it looks prettier than the ducati so kinda turns everything I said on its head
Bored with the orange and black though, they should think of more options. Even Ducati and Ferrari go beyond just red ....
It's a dark blue and orange, or is on certain model's such as the gen 3 Superduke, and the motogp scheme above
Had two of them a while back, great bikes, loads of adjustment, loads of room even for 6ft plus, the akrapovic underslung sounded like thunder. Tbf I'd buy another now.....must resist
I had one of the original r’s, loved it but I cannot stand the looks now. Fantastic bike though and great on long rides, I couldn’t stand anything longer than an hour on my 1199 panigale.
