Welcome aboard. You’ve certainly started your Ducati experience in the right place IMHO. The collective knowledge available at this forum is priceless, plus the 748, 916 and 996 are by far the most beautiful motorcycles ever made! Even in yellow Is your 916 the only motorcycle you own?
Thank you all for the warm welcome, glad you like the neighbour's bins My other bike is an S1000R. They could not be more different to ride, in fact my first ride on the 916 was a bit of an eye opener.
I hear you. My daily ride is an MT10. The last Ducati I owned before this 996 was an 851 SP3 20 odd years ago. While the 996 is quite an evolution from the 851, when you step off a technological marvel like your S1000R it can be a bit of a surprise. I believe it’s easier to enjoy Ducati ownership if its not your only bike
