The Cyclists/ebikers

  1. Does the job and if it's harder to peddle than a c/f equivalent then it burns more calories. :upyeah: I must get me one of those propah drink bottles.

  2. All of these have clocked up plenty of miles over the years and long may it continue :) the mysterious tunnel shot is of another one of my "bicycles", at least that's what it says on the V5, Tax Disc or somewhere!

  4. Nice! How you getting on with the drop bars?

  5. Not a fan right now, I'll give it a bit longer.
Just a quick spin between showers to try her out.

  6. looks brand new!

  7. Talking of "showers"... secure parking comes at a bit of a premium here in central London, so gotta make use of every single inch of space in the flat! :p

  8. It defo isn't close up!
Just found out what the 'trim function' does....There's 2 days in the garage I won't get back :p

  9. I know it's been mentioned in this thread already, but what is the simplest, most functional way to connect up with Strava please, or are there several ways to do this? I am turning into a Technology Numptie unfortunately - I have an IPhone 5S which might be on the fringe of usefulness for this now.. I am guessing I need an App but does this have to link up with a "bike computer" or can it just access my phone?

  10. It wont run on that ole bellintone.

  11. got no idea either, I thought you meant the picture taking function on your phone..

  12. really? - that's a shame, i've got Google "Timeline" working on it, but not ideal.

  13. At the risk of being banished to a place from whence I should not return...I ride mine on the hoods all the time. I find this the most comfortable for my general pace. I have got hydraulic brakes though which are finger pressure Kerch so I don’t need to get to the levers to brake.

Edit: Kerch = fierce in autocorrect land.

  15. I'm sure I'll get on with it ok.
Certainly a twitchier platform compared to the MTB.

  16. Yes front derailleurs are the Devils own work I’m afraid, prefer Campagnolo for this reason and a few others.

  17. Welcome

    Love those Triple triangle GT’s

  18. I think the frame is almost indestructible!

  19. I pretty much ride on the hoods, but do move my hands around on the top of the bar.

  20. Is is a Shimano thing? The difficulty to set?
I realize now mine has a 'trim' function on the l/h selector to take out the rub. Every days a skool day!
