Two years ago (actually two years ago yesterday 20th February) it was 18C and sunny. How do I know that? We moved house that day and it stayed like that for a fortnight
Sent a Lithium battery charger to France. You have to do a customs slip now. We sure showed those Frenchies by getting out of the EU!
Oh and packed in a couple of tokes to test the French customs dogs! I'm sure that the French will see the funny side!
Didn’t bother because it’s been extremely windy all day. However I’ve just paid for the service on the V2 so it should be redelivered later this evening
Had a call out , so took the Scrambler , nice bimble through the lanes of North Somerset and back via Chew Valley .
Steeled (geddit?) myself for the source of friction (geddit?) that is the dark art of the mysterious Ducati clutch pack change.... After over wintering in the yard the S4R’s plates were fused together by rust into 3 blocks that came out relatively easily plus one naughty friction plate that took me an hour and a half to tease out with a pair of thin screwdrivers. This task was not at all helped by the fact that dog interprets me lying or kneeling on the floor as cuddle or play time, so more times than I care to recall I’d dextrously and deftly wiggle the plate to within a couple of mm of the top of the basket only for him to come and shove his nose into my business or knock me off balance and it’d slip down to the bottom again No wifi or 4G signal in the workshop so I came indoors to get on t’internet for info re: plate order and stack height. All ready to be slotted into the bike tomorrow and fingers crossed I’ll have a working clutch again.

That's what I used to fish the other plates out, but the one at the bottom of the stack was (incorrectly) an aluminium friction plate.
Did some maintenance on the Triumph , cleaned the sprockets , deglazed the discs , remove a few tank stickers , removed the belly pan in pre paration for cleaning the exhaust .
Clutch all sorted last night. Worked first time too with no need to eff about inserting or removing plates from the stack. MOT booked for Tuesday
Look at you sticking it to The Man by parking in front of a “No Parking” sign. NB: also sticking it to The Woman by posting a pic of a bike without a bin in the background. @Ducbird
