  2. That's a replacement. I heard that @Jewell enjoyed polishing the last one he had so much that he eventually wore most it away. This is how it ended up :bucktooth:

  6. Report it, there was a heavily damaged road near me on my cycling route. I happened upon the road inspector by chance and asked him about it, the damaged section was fixed within 14 days. :upyeah:

  9. I could I guess but I feel certain that they are aware of it due to the length of time it's been like it plus they have put a temporary "uneven road" sign on the footpath which has been there for around a year. I might do the dayglo spray as maybe someone will get embarrassed enough to fix it.

  10. Found the short-circuit in the house wiring with a combination of investigation and good luck. I'm chuffed to bits as was getting me down and could have been at it for weeks or spent a fortune getting someone else to. it wasn't rats this time (fourth time lucky) but an unusual light fitting that was about as old as me (insulation finally broke down under a steel clamp..).

  11. Having dug a border t’other day around the front bay window as we were getting moss growing up the stone this morning we’ve flattened the soil, laid weed control membrane, put a edging in and filled the border up with grey slate chips we had. Probably need another 50kg (2 bags) to finish it off. But that’s for another day because I cba anymore.

  14. Had a Microsoft Teams meeting with a leading motorcycle apparel company discussing a new product. Interesting.

  15. Ripped the flat roof of my garage and set about digging out for new footings as I’m making it a metre longer, then replacing the roof with a pitched slate finished one.
Electric roller door will finish it off.

  17. Cremated my mother today. She made 91. Her granddaughter will miss her not having been able to give her a cuddle since March 2020.
In the photo below there are only two of us left now. I ‘may’ be one of the small urchin types.

  20. Started trying to fit a track fairing to the R6. Frustrating but nearly there. Only one lug on the frame is nowhere near the hole in the fairing. Andy
