From the Beeb: apart from their obsession with showing people wearing face masks in the open air, I don't get the holiday obsession with booking to places that you don't know will let you in whilst travelling in petri dish airliners. But..... so glad that I am not paying to support this rollocks of photographs of dumbos wearing face mask in the open air - even lying in the the Sun on a beach! But I do admit to having a dream last night where I was saying, "I MUST have a holiday. I must have a holiday. I MUST HAVE A HOLIDAY! I MUST GO TO GREECE! i MUST!! I MUST!!!!" And then I woke up.
It never fails to amuse me (ok, “make my eyes roll in exasperation”) that this time last year if you walked into a shop wearing a helmet the staff would demand that you leave on the basis that it was threatening and their poor little hearts couldn’t take it, yet now, if you don’t wear a helmet or other form of face covering, it provokes exactly the same Chicken Little-esque response. You humans are funny creatures!
I try not to watch the BBC but have seen an odd documentary, I have not watched a news bulletin of theirs since 2019. When anti-Brexit fears and lack of food/services/queues everywhere etc was the main topic of every day. (all of which has turned out to be bollox of course) I dont want to hear anything they utter...as for Q time and the planted audience members ...nah, the sooner that shower is taken away from public funding the better.
Laura, 'let's spend my five minute window at daily PM briefings asking inane questions' Kuenssberg is possibly the most irritating journalist. Insistent on posing questions that there are no definitive answers to, yet still expects one. A waste of airtime and anyone's attention.
About time they changed their name. BBC is a bit dated and not all inclusive. The British Broadcasting Corporation, not really all culturally woke and quite frankly a bit racist. Instead of British, may be replace it with Bullshit Broadcasting. Anyway, time to go watch eastenders.
