yes, Thanks Jez, never seen that before, real "blink and you'll miss them" record of all the "colourful people". I had to stop it playing several times, and still couldn't remember all their names. priceless footage.
The whole emphasis of the song changes too, from a quirky bar song to something very different. The guitar playing is brilliant. I do like both versions though. "Some Girls" saved the Stones from decline, re-launched them worldwide and its still their biggest selling record.
From a very underrated album, seems among the least liked album for The Clash. Personally I thought it a great progression, thought Cut the Crap was the worst release. Although strangely I like This is England.
