  1. I have very reluctantly finally accepted that at 68 my 'mint' 1198s is just too much bike for me. It's a criminal waste for it to sit in my garage unused, so perhaps it's time to sell?

It's a 2010 purchased new (by me) from Ducati Manchester. 13345 miles. FSH. MoT to 22/09/21 Full belt service by Wayne at GTec last autumn. Brand new battery. Termi (slash) slip-ons & ECU fitted when new (Originals included). Carbon hugger & tank protector. Tail pack (Ducati). Abba stand. NB! Standard (original) screen now fitted, not the bubble in photo.

£9500 Contact me if interested. I'm in no rush. East Midlands.

  6. Got the slash-cut Termis too. A must for the 1198s IMHO.

  8. Just noticed the mileage, a bit leggy for me.

  9. Mileage = reliability. Ive never understood why higher miles is a problem when a bike is in A1 tip top condition. To me it says its a great rideable bike.

  10. Leggy??? It's a 11-year old bike; works out at around 1200 miles a year...

Annual mileage corrected (thanks @cookster!) - still low mileage!

  15. Condition, condition, condition. One owner 68? Anything you can get your leg over at that age and I'm not that much younger is worth having. Mint lovely. Ride on:)

  17. Good for you - glad you're not hanging up your leathers at 68-years young!

  18. Sadly I think I’m going to be 68 before I get the chance to get my Panigale V4S out on track at Almeria. Have a terrible feeling the Ducati days at Silverstone and Donington this year will not be “unrestricted” which rules the V4 out with its full Akrapovic race system. Andy

  19. GSA is issued at retirement. The latest 1250 has a Stannah seat lift.:upyeah:

P.s I have one and a R1100 and a Triumph Bonneville and a Ducati. Just can't remember where I left the keys.:)
