  1. I've had my GSA for 10 years now. I'll be riding it as long as I still have the strength to get it up off the side stand with a full tank o_O:upyeah:

  3. What a beauty!! Obviously been very well cared for and if this was 15 years ago I would buy that in a flash knowing I got a real corker. To me anyone who has a bike that clean takes very good care of it, and during cleaning any little gremlins will be noticed, to be soon put right. If only I didn’t have various surgeries and lost my job I would sell my wife for it

  6. Is she under 8 stone? Rear tyres are expensive. Does she have a pulse? Own her own helmet and leathers? More detail in the ads please :)

  7. Hmmm. Had Triumph triples (Sprint ST & Tiger 1050) before the Duc/GSA. Loved them. Actually wish I'd kept the Sprint. It did most things with ease. Now don't laugh, but... if I could get my hands on a really honest Lambretta SX200 I'd be very happy :)

  8. Pah, a GP200 is miles better than an SX. Good luck finding an 'honest' scoot. Most will have non original engines as they were all knicked for 125's. Plus theres no way I'd pay £6k for what is essentially an Li with some aluminium grilles. Plus it'll be a bloody Servetta with Innocenti badges. The GP by Bertone is much classier and has better gear ratios.

Oh how I miss those days of Lammy snobbery.

  12. Hammered = reliability. Ive never understood why hammered ladies is a problem when a lass is in A1 tip top condition. To me it says its a great rideable bike.

  14. Everyone has different opinions on mileage, personally I don’t even begin to take it into account until it’s in excess of 40k and only then because I’m thinking of resale, not that I ever seem to sell any of mine :), my M900 has done 44k still going strong, Honda Blackirds do 100’s of thousands of miles without issue, but everyone has their own opinion, I’ll never buy a new bike again that’s for sure, total waste of money!

  15. I like your taste in scooters.I had a 65 Lambretta GT200,purchased from George Clarke Motors of Brixton in 1966.This was my introduction to two wheels.
I think my poor dad,a Norton fan,was a little disappointed in my choice of wheels -but he did teach me a great deal about mechanics, engines, and cars.I have great memories of that scooter.

  19. Yeah, but there comes a point when it's baggy and past it's best, best to move it on before that happens.
