Advice appreciated. As I approach the 3-score-years-and-10, I’m riding a 2018 Supersport. As a probable last step in my bike ownership, if I fancy a change, should I go for: 1199R 1299S 1299 base 1299FE Or stick with what I’ve got?
Panigale R (not 1199R). Or if you want the best v twin produced outside a superleggerra probably the 1299FE
Rather fancy the FE as it might hold onto its value if I pass it on to my daughter/granddaughter. Feeling that a base 1299 might not...

And I am correct in thinking the Panigale R is the post-2015 1299R which has the 1199cc engine? And just has “Panigale R” rather than “1199 R” decals?
Forget all them Novice bikes mate.... Just get an early V4 and be done with it joking aside.... Your listing a few bikes from a very varied price point! So my question would be how much do you want to spend?
I can’t take it with me! I’d liquidate my superfluous car, my MV Agusta F4750 and use some savings... As far as I can see, Rs start at £18K and go up to £25+K for the FE.
