Mph Speedo For 900ss

  1. So bike I've bought (2002) has a metric speedo. Found mph one on the bay for £95 with 28k showing. Does this sound like a fair price and how easy would it be to set it (or have it set) to bike's actual mileage?

    Is this a goer?

  2. Was your bike a parallel import?

  3. 'Twould appear so.....

  4. I got a new speedo from Ducati in the mid 2000's for my carb supersport. Seem to remember it came to about £80 in total.

The speedos look like they are crimp sealed but some of the instrument rebuilders might have the equipment and materials to reseal them once opened and mileage adjusted.

  5. Do you have a picture?
    I might have one.

  6. $_57.jpeg.jpg It's this one....thanks

  7. Sorry the one that I have has a dark grey face and no kph at all. Same make and even goes up to 160 mph.

  8. This is the original metric item, Bob...does it match this one? IMG-20210308-WA0015.jpg

  10. How much would you be looking for? :)

  11. Hi again Dave - what's it off?

  13. So’s mine.
I have a calibrated sticker stuck to the glass converting kph to mph.
    Easy and cheap fix.

  14. Where did you get that? But must confess, just bought an imperial speedo off Bob T. But sticker is really good solution. :upyeah:

  15. It was on the bike when I bought it.
    Glad you’re sorted.
