Dinner was a slow cooked chicken korma and yummy I have enjoyed lockdown apart from seeing my friends I think I’m happy to stay in
Knock on my front door at 7:50 this morning, 2 blokes delivering the TV I ordered for Carole less than 24 hours ago. Caught me still in my jimmy jams Just got back from her’s having set it up and bloody hell, it’s got a fantastic picture driven by her Sky Q box, the 4K content is just stunning. Made me realise, the UHF aerial on my roof just isn’t cutting the mustard and I should be thinking about looking at an internet tv package provider. Andy
I had a moment I’m doing a virtual walk and it needs my phone to count my steps. I have work out leggings on so tucked my phone between my skin and the waist band as I have done many times. Took it out to check and it says iPhone disabled try again in 1 min OMG I can’t get it to work No way of checking on line as no one else is here Good old Alexa she tells me to plug into my PC and iTunes for a reboot Arghhhh I don’t have a PC to hand Panic panic Alexa how do I get iPhone to work without PC Power phone down them restart Phew after a min I could put password in. Apparently skin contact can wake the screen and stepping had activated passcode and it had been put in incorrectly 6 times causing the phone to disable I have now turned off wake up phone by touching it or shaking
Received my new Milwaukee multi-tool this morning, so I've been doing a bit more sanding (window returns after having new windows fitted)...and more filling then more sanding - at my age I would have thought I would accept that the paint might fill much of the remaining blemishes
I told my daughter what happened and she said could I not wait the 1min like it said on the screen Kids eh
Had to take the Alfa to Huttons at Bleadon , to rectify some faults . Given a crappy panda as a courtesy car .
Home early so took the bike out for a spin around, such a nice afternoon seemed rude not too. Came home when my fingers went dead!
Sat with Carole enjoying a chilled beer and talking about the BSB when we had a ‘do you know what ?’ moment. Premier Inn at Wrotham and Brands Hatch booked for the whole weekend of the final round in October. Paddock Hill stand is a bit pricey for the Sunday at £25 but what the hell, it’s only money Andy
I discovered a delightful village called Fletching in sussex today, i just can't believe that i've missed it before now & with two pubs too get wet in i'll need to make a return visit at some stage. Also completely missed the funny label on the petrol tank when i viewed it back in November.
