Well, the thread title is pretty self explanatory  Just got myself an absolutely spotless Sport Classic monoposto (courtesy of PaulR - thank you! ). I only did about 100 miles on it but I absolutely love it!!! Riding position is much better than I expected and same goes for handling. Plenty of power for road use, tons of fun and stunning to look at. Front suspension could be a bit stiffer as it is too bouncy for my liking but other than this I really can't complain. Below is just a quick snap but I'll take some decent photos soon

I would look quite interesting... although anything lower than the current clip-ons would be rather uncomfy. I think raised clip-ons are a good compromise between looks and usability.
Congrats, I did the same thing after riding sports bikes for years I was only getting in trouble with them!!!, there is enough power for the road and several options for upgrading the forks and brakes etc..., find my one being a never ending project that I enjoy as it makes the bike your our! Enjoy
Glad you're pleased with it Andy, I enjoyed my farewell ride up to Cambridge on it yesterday. 100 miles on it already, sounds like you'll put it to better use than me, 3400 miles in 5 years was a bit poor  I need to start thinking about my 848 Streetfighter now
I took it out for another spin yesterday and came back home around midnight  Brilliant machine! Good luck with the Streetfighter... are you looking for a new one or second hand?
One week later and i'm still convinced that this is a perfect bike for me! Paul - how is that hunt for SF 848 going?
I've got a 1997 TL1000S which has been languishing in my shed for almost 7 years, I got it out this morning  It needs a new battery, oil change etc but I may just ride around on that this summer and get the Streetfighter next year. The riding position on the TL is fairly leant over though so I'm not sure if my back will take it!
