  3. ^^^^
The terminal lugs have to be soldered as the material is too thick to satisfactorily crimp, consequently, you will need some heat shrink sleeving as well, as the heat of the soldering causes the insulation to "retreat" from the joint.

  4. To be honest all my Ducati's fire up nicely apart from the 996, that has a tantrum everytime when it's playtime, so maybe a new battery is the way forward on that particular machine.Anyway back to the upgrade leads cheap as chips by the looks of things and you would have thought the supplier would be able to accommodate on the clamping process.

  5. You be ok sneaking up the Military Road the back then driving it off the end into the water!

  6. I actually think this is a really interesting discussion.

There are a few things to consider here too. For example, when we tell stories or missives about people, we generally try to describe the characters that differentiates them from the rest of the group. So we might say the big bald bloke, young YT lad or whatever. So it's quite reasonable around here in Cheshire imho to say someone is black, Asian or whatever as on a building site here, that would generally be something that would distinguish them. In my first example, one may not use the "big bald white bloke" as that would be more then 50% of the group. Whereas on a building site in London using the race thing wouldn't be a good idea, not for any racist reason as sam1199 clearly isn't. Just because in a much more multi cultural environment, using race wouldn't be something that would distinguish someone very well.
